Sounds like Oliver has himself a new forever home! Congratulations! :-)
ReplyDeleteHey, what happened to my smiley face? Looks like I lost an eye and grew a really long nose! LOL
ReplyDeleteI wonder how Eric's doing? It was a beautiful day here today!
Oliver is a real keeper! And just heard via a tweet from Eric that he finished in 29+ hrs. Had a hard time with the altitude, but slugged on and made it! I can't believe running for that many hours or that distance!
ReplyDeleteThat's great news, about both Oliver and Eric! Are you telling me Eric ran 29+ hours STRAIGHT? No way!
ReplyDeleteHi Laloofah--I think blogspot has some issues at the moment so images aren't loading well, but I hope it gets fixed soon! And yes, Eric came in 60th out of 115 finishers and he ran for 29 hours, 51 minutes, and 46 seconds!! There are brief stops at aid stations for food/water/etc., but as far as I can tell those stops don't last more than 10-15 minutes. They are basically running the entire time all through the night! He was grateful for the good weather, by the way!
